Terrible Amplifier

I ordered this because of the good reviews that I'm now starting to think are fake. I bought this amp to power 2 6x9's and a 8 inch subwoofer that has a 100watt rms rating. The 6x9's have a 75 rms rating each. This amp is 2400 watts so I figured It would be more than enough. I hooked it up and it seemed to be working fine. Then 10 minutes later while I was cleaning things up and putting my tools away the music stopped. I checked the amp and it was SUPER HOT!!!!!!!!!. It was in protect mode. I checked all my wring and everything was good. Checked my ground and it was good. I called my friend over and he brought one of his precision power 4 channel amps. I installed that one to make sure my wiring was good. This amp played for over an hour torturing my speakers and it never ran hot. The precision power was only 400 watts rms. We decided to take it to the local audio shop. There they had an amplifier tester. They ran a dynamic at 4 ohms and it was only 63 watts per channel rms. ON the paper work here this amp is supposed to be 240 watts per channel RMS at 4 ohms. This amp is just a waste of time. I bought it because I had a good experience with a different boss amp. Even though it also lied about the power rating and ran hot it performed for hours unlike this piece of junk right here. If you want this amp just to power door speakers it should work fine. Also this amp does not like to be bridged. Buy at your own risk

IT GET HOT FAST AN CUT OFF ALOT BAD IF U LIKE NOISE TRY SOMETHING ELSE 4 CHANNEL MY BASS LINE CHIP OFF D AMP HAVE TO LOW DOWN ALL THE BASS VOLUME 4 THE AMP TO PLAY A LITTLE LONGER I WISH I DIDNT BUY IT . WASTE OFF TIME AND MONEY

this is a very small but powerful amp...best for the price you pay... i have two 8" audiopipe speakers and two 6" audiopipe speaker hooked up to this thing...and its LOUDE....
